Lemon ideas, A start-up Incubator and School of entrepreneurship celebrated the festival of lights and new beginnings with a unique event in their own style called ‘Diwali Milan’ at Lemon Playfield. The event involved a series of fun activities, contests, dances and a lot of shenanigans. The event was participated by all the incubated startups, students of the Lemon school of entrepreneurship, their employees and a few guests.
The Lemon Ideas Diwali Milan was hosted by the founders of the incubated startups Vishal Chawda of flying penguins, Sanket Patne of Creatifox, Akash Kirtane, Sagar Kirtane, Abhishek Popaphali and Vivek Nandanwar of Webbeta Solutions and the one and only Mr. Deepak Menaria, CEO of Lemon Ideas. The guest list included the Lemon Mentors, Mr. Mukesh Ashar, Sourav Mukherji and Poonam Menaria.
The event started on a high note with the glamorous fashion show by all the pretty women and handsome guys on the Lemon floor followed by a couple of dances and series of games which saw an immense engagement by the Lemon Family. The best part of the Lemon Ideas Diwali Milan was the dinner and Networking session at the end which the Lemon Believes is the most important and the best part and holds all the employees of different startups together and makes them a family.
A most impressive fact and observation established in this event was that the Lemon Ideas doesn’t feel like a startup incubator and all the startups don’t seem to be different entities but the togetherness and the affection between each other makes them a family of companies and as they call it, “We are a lemonade”. “I am glad, I am part of the lemon team. My parents stay in the US, and I have never celebrated Diwali before in such a way that I didn’t miss my family at all” said Karim Dhammani, Marketing Executive at Lemon Ideas.
The best part of the Lemon Team is the Multi-cultural backgrounds of the employees which gives them a chance to celebrate each and every festival in such unique ways. “On Eid, we all made the biryani and kheer ourselves, that’s the best part of working at a startup as everything becomes a DIY activity.” Said an Employee of Flying Penguins.
