DPS MIHAN observed World Water Day on March 22nd with a series of impactful activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of water conservation and management. Under the theme “Valuing Water,” students engaged in various endeavors to underscore the vital role of water in our lives.
Pre-school students participated in an enlightening talk show, while Grades 1 and 2 showcased their creativity through a poster-making competition highlighting water-related issues. Grade 5 students organized a spirited rally to advocate for water conservation, and a special assembly brought together the school community for reflection and discussion on water scarcity, pollution, and access to clean water.
These initiatives reflect DPS Mihan’s commitment to instilling a sense of responsibility towards water resources and fostering a culture of conservation and sustainability among its students. Water is our basic source of sustenance on Earth.
With increased population pressure and the adverse impacts of climate change, this precious resource is fast getting depleted.
