    Burglars strike at two houses under Tehsil, Hudkeshwar police, booty worth Rs 1.96 lakh stolen

    Nagpur: In two incidents of housebreaking reported under Teshil and Hudkeshwar police, some unidentified miscreants broke into two houses and decamped with cash, gold ornaments and other material collectively worth Rs 1.96 lakh.

    In the first incident, a 25-year-old Mohammad Ashfi, Mashumshah Takiya, had gone to hospital to attend his wife going under labor between 3 pm to 11:00 pm. In the meantime, some unidentified miscreants broke into their house and decamped with gold ornaments and cash collectively worth Rs 98,000. The incident came to the fore when the Ashfi returned home in the night.

    Following the complaint of Mohammad Jamshed wald Haji Mohammad Islaam (47), Tehsil cops registered a case under section 454,457,380 of IPC and launched the probe into the matter.

    Similarly, Hudkeshwar resident Anil Prabhakarrao Palandurkar (52), told cops that along with his family, he had gone out on January 26. In the meantime some unidentified miscreants broke the door of the kitchen room and entered their home. The burglars reportedly broke open the iron almirah and decamped gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 98,000.

    Following which Palandurkar approached Hudkeshwar police and lodged a complaint.
