ZTE at IFA 2015 launched its global version of ZTE Axon, ZTE Axon Elite. The handset will be available in France, Italy, Spain and U.K. on 24th September. Availability of the smartphone at Turkey, the Philippines, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Russia is delayed. Axon Elite can be purchased at EUR 419.99 (appox. Rs. 31,100)
The dual-sim ZTE Axon Elite will have a full HD display with the resolution of 1080X1920 pixels. The stand up of Axon Elite is it comes with biometric authentication methods such as fingerprint, voice and eye scanning sensors.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop version and features a 5.5- inch display. It is powered by64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (quad-core 1.5GHz + quad-core 2GHz) processor with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB RAM.
Another spotlight of the smartphone is its dual-lens (13-megapixel + 2-megapixel) rear camera with BSI CMOS sensor and dual-LED flash. The camera allows the users refocus an object after the image is clicked. It can also record videos in 4K resolution. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel front camera. It has inbuilt storage capacity of 32GB which is not expandable. The connectivity features are 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0and USB. The device has a non removable 3000mAh battery.
