Nagpur: Close on the heels of foiling another kidnapping bid on 14 year old Chaitanya Ashtankar from Manish Nagar, the judgement for the sensational kidnapping and murder of Yug Chandak will be pronounced on January 28. Rajesh Dhannalal Davare(19), a resident of Vanjari Layout, Kalamna and Arvind Abhilash Singh( 23), a resident of Preeti Layout, Nara road Jaripatka are main accused in the kidnapping and murder case.
Yug’s father Mukesh Chandak is dentist and has clinic at Dosar Bhavan Chowk.Yug was a student of Centre Point School.One of the accused Rajesh Davre used to work at Chandak’s clinic. But was removed from the job sometime back.On September a, 2014 Davare with the help of of his friend Arvind Singh kidnapped Yug at 4 pm. The incident took place when Yug alighted from school bus infront of of his home. The kidnappers murdered him near Dahegaon- Patansaongi at Lonkhari nullah.
On September 2 the accused duo led the cops to murder spot after admitting of killing Yug.There were 26 injuries on Yug’s body. the post-mortem on Yug’s body was performed at Mayo Hospital on September 3. It may be noted here that kidnappers had demanded ransom of Rs10 crore from Yug’s father.
