Youths arrested for trying to outrage modesty of minor girls in separate cases

Nagpur News: Two cases of molestation on 15-year-old girls were reported on Friday night under the jurisdiction of Jaripatka and Nandanvan Police Station. In the first incidence, a 15-year-old had gone to fetch water from near her house. Accused Sonu Ashok More (25), a resident of Indira Nagar Slums reached near her, held her hand and forcefully took her to a washroom of a nearby house. The girl started screaming for help but he threatened to kill her. But, she did not consented to his demands and continued her struggle to free herself. He left her. The girl ran to her house and narrated the whole incidence to her mother. Her mother took her to Jaripatka Police Station and filed a complaint against Sonu.

 Cops registered an offence under Sections 342, 354 and 506 and sub Section 7,8 of Children Offence Act, 2012 and arrested the accused.

In another incidence, Nandanvan Police arrested one youth for trying to outrage the modesty of a 15-year-old girl and arrested two others for helping the youth. According to police, accused Mohd Wasim Khurshid Siddiqui (18), a resident of Nageshwar Nagar, Bidding Company lured a 15-year-old girl of marriage. His friends Mohd Abid Mubarak Siddiqui (24) and Mohd Salman Siddiqui Mohd Adil, both residents of Nageshwar Nagar, Bidding Company helped Wasim to outrage her modesty. Wasim took the girl on his bike in a deserted area and tried to outrage her modesty.

But the girl made an escape and reached home. She narrated the whole incidence to her parents. Her parents took her to Nandanvan Police Station and filed a complaint against the accused. Cops arrested all the three youths and registered an offence under Section 354 (a)(i), 34 and Sub Section 12, Protection of Children Offence Act, 2012 of the IPC, informed PI Jaiswal.
