Nagpur News: Unidentified thieves lootyed booty worth Rs 4.12 lakh from Lakadganj Police Station area on Friday night. According to information, Roopchand Mahadeorao Parate (60), a resident of Bairagipura, near Chinteshwar temple, behind power house, had to attend the function of Akkarmas at Juni Mangalwari with his family. Meanwhile, some unidentified goons gained entry in the house breaking open the front door lock. They fled with cash, silver and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 4.12 lakh from the steel almirah kept in the bedroom.
When Rupchand and his family came back, he discovered the broken lock and further found broken drawers of the almirah. He rushed to Lakadganj Police station and filed a complaint against the thieves. PSI Sadme registered an offence under Section 457 and 380 of the IPC, informed PI Unaone.
