An attempt to take the life of a youth over a suspicion of illicit relationship was foiled at Raghujinagar in Nagpur. The youth Chetan Wasantrao Thakre, 25, sustained injuries on his body. Hailing from Chandrapur, Chetan reside at Vidarbha Housing Board quarters in Raghujinagar. Police sources informed that accused Kiran, resident of Futala Basti, reached Chetan’s place along with his friends and attacked him.
Kiran was suspicious that Chetan was having illicit relations with former’s wife. Following the doubt, Chetan was attacked with sharp edged weapons. However, Chetan managed to escape the spot.
