Nagpur: A girl has lodged a complaint with the Ganeshpeth police against a youth for refusing to marry and suspecting her character. One Akash Wat was engaged to the girl, a resident of Ganeshpeth. Youth, his parents and relatives refused to perform the wedding as the boy suspected the girl’s character.
According to the police the said girl a resident of Ganeshpeth and the boy Akash Wat were engaged and marriage talks were going on between May 2017 to November and finally the marriage was settled. The girl’s parents had spent 4.21 lakh on engagement and preparation of marriage. But suddenly Akash Wat, his mother Sandhya Wat, relatives Megha Karemore and Narendra Karemore broke the engagement saying they doubted the girl’s character.
The girl and her relative complained to the police, who registered an offence against Akash Wat, his mother Sandhya Wat relatives Megha Karemore and Narendra Karemore under section 420, 417, 34 and sub section 4 of IPC.
