Nagpur News: Lakadganj police have booked a youth on the charges of kidnapping a 17-year old girl by luring her with a marriage promise.
According to police, the accused Vicky Bhaskar Dusane, (22), native of Gadchandur, District Chandrapur, trapped and kidnapped a 17-year old girl, resident under the jurisdiction of Lakadganj Police Station by luring her with a marriage promise. The Lakadganj PSI Dube, acting on the complaint of the girl’s father, has booked Vicky Dusane under Sections 363, 366(A) of the IPC and launched a search for both the accused and the girl. According to a Supreme Court ruling, when a minor girl goes missing, registration of an FIR is mandatory by the police station and the missing case should be treated as that of kidnapping one.
