Nagpur: A gruesome murder came to light in the Maldhakka area under the Lakadganj police station limits in Nagpur on Monday, sending shockwaves across the locality. A young man was found dead with his throat slit, prompting police to launch a full-scale investigation into the brutal killing.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rehman alias Rammu, a resident of Shantinagar.

According to police sources, local residents spotted a body lying in the Maldhakka area and immediately alerted the police control room. Upon receiving the information, a team from Lakadganj Police Station led by Police Inspector Mukund Kawade rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
During the preliminary examination, police suspected that the victim had been murdered after his throat was slit with a sharp-edged weapon. The crime scene was carefully inspected, and forensic evidence was collected to aid the investigation.
After completing the panchnama, the body was sent to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem examination. The autopsy report is expected to provide crucial details regarding the exact cause and time of death.
