Nagpur: A 25-year old youth not only thrashed and threatened to kill a middle aged man but also molested his daughter and warned of dire consequences when she tried to save her father. The accused has been arrested.
According to police, the 45-year old complainant, resident of Pachpaoli, was returning home on a two-wheeler around 7.30 pm on Saturday. When he reached near home, the accused Ravi Ramkrishna Bhiwapurkar (25) kicked his vehicle and downed the man. Taken aback by the development, the complainant man confronted the accused Ravi for his rude behavior. Enraged by this confrontation, the accused Ravi started abusing the complainant and then drew a sword and ran towards him in a threatening posture. The accused even entered the man’s house and thrashed him with fists and kicks. Noticing the brawl, the man’s daughter rushed to save her father. Turning his wrath on the girl, the accused Ravi first indulged in obscene actions and later threatened to kill her also. The accused then fled the spot. The shocked man later lodged a complaint with Pachpaoli Police Station in this connection.
Pachpaoli API Bhosale registered an offence under Sections 452, 354, 294, 323, 506(B) of the IPC and Sub-Sections 4+25 of Indian Arms Act and succeeded in arresting the accused Ravi Bhiwapurkar.
