Nagpur News: A 16-year old girl was abused and beaten by a youth when she was going to purchase vegetables on Sunday night. The accused youth has been identified Rahul Krishna Samudre (22), resident of Lalganj Sweeper Colony.
According to police, the girl was headed to Jattarodi Sqaure at about 9 pm on Sunday for purchasing vegetables. Suddenly, the youth Rahul Krishna Samudre accosted her and started vulgar actions. However, when the girl strongly protested the vulgar actions of Rahul, he started abusing her and also thrashed the girl severely. But anyhow the girl succeeded in escaping from the spot and narrated the incident to her relatives. They lodged a complaint against Rahul with Imambada Police Station in this connection. The police have booked Rahul under Sections 354 (D), 323 of IPC and have launched a search to arrest the absconding Rahul.
