Nagpur: In yet another hit-and-run incident, a young man was killed when unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle injuring him fatally in Hingna on Tuesday. The driver, along with the killer vehicle, fled the spot after the mishap.
A resident of Ward No. 3, Bazargaon, Murlidhar Keshav Khadse (25), was going on his Bajaj Caliber bike (MH-31/AX 7986) around 7 pm on Tuesday. Midway near Vena Nursery, Dhamna Shivar, Amravati Road, a rashly driven unidentified vehicle rammed Murlidhar’s motorcycle and injured him critically. He died on the spot. A team of Hingna police reached the spot and sent Murlidhar’s body for autopsy.
Hingna ASI Ghuge, based on complaint of Sarang Keshav Khadse (33), booked the unidentified driver under Sections 279, 304(A) of the IPC read with Section 184 of Motor Vehicles Act and launched a search to nab him.
