In a major breakthrough, Nandanvan police have blown the cover over the mysterious murder of a retired Irrigation Department Official Sudhakar Karadmare on Saturday. Police have arrested a DEd girl student in this connection. Apprehensions over a girl was behind this murder were making rounds as a toe ring and a long strand of hair were found at the rented apartment of Karadmare in Ratan Nagar where his body was found.
Police said, the accused has been identified Pranali alias Sonali Subhashrao Bhoyar (19).
According to police, Karadmare had employed Pranali for cooking food in his house. However, he had employed Pranali with nefarious designs in his mind. Police are sure of the murderer, however, they are groping in the dark over the reason behind the brutal murder allegedly by Pranali. Police are trying to dig out the truth and the grilling of the DEd student could provide the breakthrough.
It is to be noted that Sudhakar Karadmare was found dead in his rented house in Ratan Nagar, Ramana Maruti area recently with 17 stab wounds on his body. Police were not successful in grabbing the killer but they were certain of woman’s involvement in the case. After digging more into the case, cops finally arrested Pranali on Saturday.
Sudhakar, according to sources, was a womanizer and was fighting a case in family court against his wife.
