Nagpur News : Western Coalfield Ltd. (WCL) celebrated world environment day today in its headquarters in Nagpur. Shri Dinesh Chandra Garg, Chairman Cum Managing Director, WCL, administered pledge to the employees of the company.
On this occasion D.C. Garg said that we must save the planet from the pollution. It is our responsibility to conserve energy resources to control global warming. He further said that as a corporate undertaking we are discharging our social and environmental responsibility.
WCL is discharging it’s duties towards environment in it’s command areas successfully under the able leadership and guidance of D.C. Garg,Chairman-Cum -Managing Director of the company. In the end of the programme S.S. Malhi Director Tecnical (P&P) distributed plant seeds and saplings to the employees of WCL and also planted trees in WCL, H.Q. Campus. HoDs, Officers and employees were present in large during the celebration.
