Nagpur: Department of Computer Technology and Computer science & Engineering, PIET recently organized 2 days workshop on Python in which more than 70 students participated. The contents of the topic was well covered by Prof. Reajeev Ranjan , IIT, Kharagpur. During this workshop students learned and practiced details of Python which is as per the survey one of the fastest growing and most used programming language presently. After the conclusion of the workshop an assessment test was also organized through which first 3 teams selected will now represent Central Zone in the final round of a Coding championship which will be organized at IIT, Kharagpur.
Dr. V. M. Nanoti, Principal, PIET distributed the merit certificates and also applauded all the participants, he also motivated them to participate in similar workshop through which new technologies can be learned. Dr. P. S. Prasad, HoD, CSE department encouraged the students and explained them the importance of learning new technologies. During the valedictory Prof. A. S. Sambare, HoD, CT congratulated all the winners and gave assurance that similar workshops of technical importance will also be organized.
H. V. Taiwade, K. D. Bodhe, P.H. Govardhan, V. P. Yadav, S. Khare, N. V. Aote, P. Naik, S. Dravyakar, Ms. D. Kale, P. Dhule along with student coordinators worked hard for the success of this workshop.
