You must have heard of the invisibility gadget that takes you to the fancied world of getting disappeared the moment it is turned on. Well that’s a passe! Now something like this has been brought in real, where the dress a girl would wear gets invisible. And the girl wearing should have to be turned on in order to put the dress to task. And cool off guys…this is no fantasy but a real thing which has taken the fashion world by storm.
The dress is designed by an award winning Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde and is named ‘Intimacy 2.’ Interestingly, it is made up of an opaque fabric that becomes transparent when the person wearing it gets aroused. As soon as your heartbeat increases, the cloth gets electrified and the dress reacts to it by becoming transparent. The dress is manufactured with materials involving leather, opaque e-foils, electronics, and LEDs along with copper.
This is a part of a fashion project that is exploring the connection between intimacy and technology. Very obviously, this dress cannot make it to your work wardrobe. What if it becomes transparent every time you wear it? Surely, that’s not the kind of trouble we want to get in! The dress is not available in stores yet and is only a prototype for now.
