Hema urges Nitin Gadkari to organized a similar even in all cities & states

Hema Malini who addressed the gathering of women entrepreneurs of the city for the inauguration of the event Disham on December 28, 2013 opined that it s very difficult to bring change in the city. MP Hema lauded the efforts of the organizers and every woman entrepreneur who is participating in the event.
While addressing the audience she claimed that she has come to Nagpur earlier too, but thanks to the efforts of Nitin Gadkari, who has changed the very façade of the city. She claimed she saw so many flyovers and said that it is wonderful to see the city from the top of the flyovers.
While thanking the compere Renuka Deshkar who called her Goddess Durga, Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Mahalaxmi, she said that every woman has all the three forms hidden in her. She said that man could be a very big manager or a management professional in the office, but it is the wife who manages the house. She manages all finances, the house, all family members etc. She claimed that every woman is daughter, sister, wife and then mother. Every woman has to play the role of all at different age. When the woman plays the role of Mahalaxmi, she brings peace, happiness and prosperity to the family and the house. But when she is scorned or abused, she can take the form of Goddess Durga or Mahakali too.
The charisma, charm and aura that the Hema Malini aka “Dream Girl” has been very evident by the way men, women, children and youth thronged Kasturchand Park Grounds. Due to the delay in landing the flight, she got 2-3 hours late which irked the media personnel who were waiting in the venue from 4 pm.
As soon as MP Hema Malini arrived, a whirlwind of activities started. The programme began with lighting of the traditional lamp. Municipal Commissioner Shyam Wardhane, Mayor Prof Anil Sole and Chief Organiser Ashwini Jichkar spoke to the audience. They elaborated the need for such a programme and almost everybody recognized the former Mayor Archana Dehankar who had initialized this event in the city.
Five prominent women were felicitated by Hema Malini on the occasion. They were: 1. Jyothi Amge who is the World’s smallest living woman according to the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of Records. Hema Malini after felicitating her went on a short walk with her on the dais and even lifted her and posed for the shutter happy cameramen. 2. Monita Patel who specializes in providing Consultancy in Interior Designing was felicitated next. 3. Sakshi Aghore who incorporates learning and spiritual matter onto T-Shirts was felicitated. 4. Sunita Narayanrao Dhone who specializes in Mehandi and sells various designs and mehandi was felicitated. She gave some exquisite Mehandi Designs to Hema Malini. 5. Radha Durgesh Gaur who lost her husband and decided to fend for her self started making and selling bangles was felicitated next. She gave a beautiful set of Bangles to Hema Malini.
After that Hema Malini and the dignitaries on the stage released a memoir.
Former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari in his address said that with the existing inflation and the rising costs, hunger and the rampant unemployment, self employment is the best solution. He said that there is a heavy demand for home made stuff because they are good in quality and free from unnecessary additives. With the help of Events like Disham, the slum dwellers too can get a chance to showcase their art and can get a good market and buyers too.
