A 42-year old man raped a 26-year old woman on the pretext of giving her job. The man raped the woman in a beer bar after mixing sedatives in her cold drink and rendering her helpless. Police have launched a search for the absconding accused.
According to police, the accused Sunil Kale (42), resident of Manewada, Nagpur trapped the woman on the pretext of giving her job. The accused Sunil Kale called the job-seeking woman to Kamptee Road-based Chandni Bar and Restaurant for meeting the “Sir.” In the Bar, the accused Sunil Kale mixed sedatives in the woman’s cold drink and rendered her unconscious. Taking advantage of the woman’s condition, the accused raped her allegedly in the bar itself.
Yashodhara Nagar Senior PSI Gayakwad, acting on the complaint lodged by the woman, booked the accused Mohan Kale under Sections 376(2)(J), 328 of the IPC and searching him.
