Man robbed of gold booty worth Rs 3 lakh at gun-point in Sadar area, police launch hunt

Nagpur.

A 40-year old man was relieved of his gold jewellery worth over Rs 3 lakh at gun point by two road robbers in Sadar area on Wednesday night. Cops have launched hunt the two gun-wielding accused.

The victim Mohan Vishwanath Domde (40), resident of Plot No. 54, Suraj Nagar, behind Palotti School, Gittikhadan was returning home on his motorcycle around 8.30 pm on Wednesday. When Mohan reached near NADT, two persons, in the age group of 25-30 years, stopped him and whipped out a revolver. The accused then snatched the gold jewellery Mohan was carrying and fled the spot. Mohan was robbed of gold booty worth Rs 3,28,050 by the two way-layers at gun point.

Sadar PSI Jamdade, based on a complaint lodged by Mohan Domde, has booked the two accused robbers under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and launched a hunt to nab them.
