Nagpur News : Minutes after talking to her husband on cell phone, a 28-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into Ambazari Lake on Tuesday morning. Kalpana Godbole, mother of six-year-old, worked in a private computer lab on Hingna road.
Kalpana’s husband Milind Godbole, a resident of Durga Nagar, claimed that he had left Kalpana to her computer lab at 8.15 am. Half-an-hour later, she called him to tell that now onwards; she will not be there to trouble him. After few minutes, Godbole got a call from police who informed that Kalpana’s body has been fished out from Ambazari Lake.
Godbole, in his statement to police, told that there were no differences undergoing between him and Kalpana. Police found a dairy from Kalpana’s purse but didn’t reveal the notes written in it. Ambazari police has registered a case of an accidental death and are investigating the case further.
