Nagpur News : Jaipatka police have arrested a woman for misbehaving with two women police constable on Wednesday. Cops have slapped charges under sections 353, 294, 506 and 323 of the IPC.
According to information, the accused have been identified as Sona Bhalerao (30), a resident of Kasturba Nagar. Police said that Jaripatka police received a phone call on March 12 from the director of Dayanand Park that a woman was doing indecent actions inside the park which had caused inconvenience to the visitors. Lady constables Poonam Narendra Shende and Nilima reached the park with their associates. Poonam and Nilima discovered that the woman was Sona Bhalerao. Later, Sona started abusing the lady cops and also punched them. She also threatened their associates of their jobs.
Cops finally took the woman into custody on the charges of hitting lady cops. Further investigations are under way.
