Nagpur: The Orange City has finally started to feel the first whispers of winter! A noticeable dip in the minimum temperature and a sharp rise in air dryness have brought a distinct chill to Nagpur’s mornings and evenings, signalling the seasonal shift.
Residents across several parts of the city, especially those living near open spaces, lakes, and green zones, reported feeling the crisp cold breeze late at night and early in the morning. The sudden nip in the air has prompted many Nagpurians to pull out their woollens, light sweaters, and blankets earlier than expected this year.
According to weather experts, the minimum temperature in Nagpur has dropped steadily over the past few days due to clear skies and dry northeasterly winds. Similar conditions are being observed across the Vidarbha region.
Meteorologists predict that the coming week will see a further drop in temperature, particularly during the night hours, as the city transitions fully into the winter season. For now, Nagpurians are enjoying the pleasant coolness, a welcome relief after months of sweltering heat.
