Nagpur: In a commendable initiative aimed at supporting women’s health, the Shri Swami Samarth Multipurpose Foundation has donated four sanitary pad vending machines to the Nagpur Police Commissioner’s Office and the Ganeshpeth Police Station.
The donation includes three machines for the Commissioner’s Office and one for the Ganeshpeth Police Station, addressing the needs of women police personnel and female visitors. Given the large number of women officers and visitors who frequent these offices daily, the move is seen as a practical and sensitive effort to ensure better hygiene and convenience.
The machines were formally handed over by Foundation Chairperson Nutan Revatkar to Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Singhal, who inaugurated the facility.
Also present at the event were Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Agrawal, Foundation Secretary Poonam Revatkar, Vice President Payal Revatkar, and Treasurer Akash Revatkar.
Officials praised the Foundation’s social responsibility and its thoughtful contribution toward improving workplace hygiene for women in uniform.
