Will abolish LBT if voted to power, assures former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari

Former BJP President Nitin Gadkari lambasted the government at Centre saying that the traders and businessmen are facing the worst, thanks to the hurdles created by the government’s anti-trade policies. Addressing a Diwali Sneh Sammelan organized by Nagpur’s Kirana Association at Lalit Public School at Wathoda, Gadkari said that weakening rupee against dollar has worsened Indian trade situation.

He assured of clearing all hindrances, local or national, once the BJP resumes power both at Centre and in the state. He specially stressed on abolishing Local Body Tax from Nagpur.

State BJP President MLA Krishna Khopde, MLA Vikas Kumbhare, BJP state spokesperson Girish Vyas, Nagpur BJP treasurer and corporator Chetna Tank also addressed the programme and assured the traders of all round support on the problems they faced due to LBT.

The Association’s president Pradeep Panjwani, secretary Ashok Wadhwani, programme’s convenor Chandan Goswami and other executive body members felicitated Gadkari on the oaccsion.

The event was marked by cultural programme and some message oriented presentations, specially the one against female feticide presented by Shruti Jain.

Similarly other engaging programmed like treasure hunt, musical housie, children’s dance were also organized.

Sanjay Golchha anchored the event while convenor Chandan Goswami extended his vote of thanks.
