    When sweetest of melodies was in the air!

    On the eve of Bengali New Year, Poila Baisakh, The famous Bengali folk singer Swapan Basu performed at Saisabhagruha, and left the listeners mesmerized. With his unique voice quality, he sang many Bengali numbers that proved to be bliss to ears. The hall was full of Bengali music lovers and the crowd gave a tremendous response. With a signature instrument in his hand- Banjo, he made the people present there feel like heaven. When he started crooning on the tunes of the song  ‘Aage Kee Sundar Din Katai Tam’, a vibe of captivating sweetness has spread at the venue. The show continued for two hours. The evening was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Mukharjee, a noted Cardiologist. A few more people who graced their presence were Pradeep Ganguly, Pradeep Maitra and Tapas Saha.
