Vigilant people nab two thieves

Nagpur News: Two of a gang were nabbed by public and were handed over to Sadar police on Wednesday.

Sources said, Aniket Suresh Narnawre (17), a resident of Pimpla Fata, near Hanuman Mandir, was standing near Sadar bus stop when the three accused Mohammad Qadir Mohammad Shakil (20), Mohammad Sameer Abdul Kalam (19), and Mohammad Rahim Mohammad Salim (19) came on their Dio moped (MH 31 DB 7726). The accused requested to make an urgent call from Aniket’s cell phone. When Aniket gave his phone, they started threatening him and made a run from the scene. Aniket shouted for help and started chasing the thieves. Soon, the public gathered and took hold of Mohd Qadir and Mohd Samir. However, the third accused Mohd Rahim succeeded to escape.

The public handed over the thieves to Sadar police station who registered a case of theft under Section 392 and 34 of the IPC and have launched a search for Mohd Rahim.
