The much awaited four day Udyogika exhibition jointly organized by Vidarbha Lady Entrepreneur’s wing and Barrister Sheshrao Wankhede Hall was inaugurated by Kundatai Vijaykar, Ex. Mayor NMC and trustee of Barrister Sheshrao Wankhede Hall at Kusumtai Wankhede Hall, North Ambazari Road on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kundatai Vijaykar appreciated the efforts of Lady Entrepreneurs for making this event a memorable one. She added that is heartening to see new and young entrepreneurs setting up their stalls this year. Anita Rao in her welcome address gave a brief report on the working of LEW to promote entrepreneurship amongst women folk. With more then 100 stalls, the expo includes boutique dresses, readymade garments, gift articles, handloom materials and garments, purses hand embroidered dress and materials, jewellery, bags, Gujarati Kachi work, Packaging materials, bed sheets, diwan set and covers, paintings, mural paintings, glass items, handicrafts, photo frames, Ayurvedic medicines and herbal products etc. There will be many surprising gifts for visitors in the evening at 8: 00 pm Lucky draw will be held every evening and mega prize will be announced every day and will be given at the hands of invited special guests. On the last day there will be a bumper prize which is sponsored by Pallavi. In the expo the special invitee guests are Sarita Kaushik, Vinita Chaturvedi, Asawari Shenolikar and Abha Chaturvedi.
Earlier Anita Rao, Chairperson of LEW gave welcome address and Suresh Agrawal Past president and coordinator LEW and Prafull Doshi President also spoke on this occasion.
