VIA Lady Entrepreneurs Wing had recently organised an industrial tour to Textile Park at Amravati to have experience of Spinning, Knitting and Processing units. The industries visited were Suryalaxmi Cotton Mills Ltd. and Shyam Indofab Private Limited. Also visited Wholesale Cloth Hub at Amravati for the benefit of their members.
A delegation of 45 members including executive committee members and other members visited these places under the leadership of Mrs. Reeta Lanjewar, Chairperson, VIA LEW and Mrs. Manisha Bawankar, Secretary, VIA LEW.
The delegates first visited Suryalaxmi Cotton Mills Ltd and got the knowledge of spinning mill manufacturing yarn on the latest automed machineraies. They were explained about the various steps and quality checks involved in manufacturing yarn. After that they were welcomed by Shyam Indofab Private Limited to get an insight on knit fabric manufacturing. The whole process starting from fabric manufacturing to printing on the cloth was very well explained. Shyam Indofab felicitated all the LEW members with the samples of the cloths manufactured at their Industry.
This was followed by a visit to city land Wholesale cloth Hub. The delegates got complete insight from cotton to manufacturing cloth to final cloth market through this visit.
Ms Jaya Harwani, President, Chamber of Commerce, Amravati and Ms Varsha Deshmukh, Past President, Chamber of Commerce, Amravati welcomed the delegation and guided them about wholesale market at Amravati and various opportunities at Amravati.
Executive members of VIA LEW including Sarita Pawar, Anjali Gupta, Vandana Sharma, Y. Ramani, Chitra Parate, Poonam Lala, Indu Kshirsagar, Rashmi Kulkarni, Mitali Rafique and Yogita Deshmukh worked hard to make the Industrial tour successful.
