VED Council Conducts Talk On Forest Based Industries By Mr. M.Srinivasa Rao , IFS, Chief Conservator of Forest (Production & Management )

VED Council monthly meeting “Progress Pulse” organised a very interesting talk by Mr. M. Srinivasa Rao, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Production and Management) on Forest Based Industries at the M. K.H. Sancheti Hall on Saturday 15th June 2024.

President Rina Sinha , emphasising on the thrust area of bio diversity of VED Council as part of exploring newer opportunities for Vidarbha’s Economic Development appealed to the a house full audience to explore business opportunities looking at the abundant resources available from rich bio diversity in the region.
Mr,. Srinivas Rao on his talk had everyone spell bound when he unveiled so many aspects that our forests can provide to utilise natural resources for economic development through a very crisp presentation which shed light on the significant growth and potential of forest-based industries and the global essential oils market offering insights into various sectors, market trends, and notable institutions driving these industries forward.

The monthly magazine of Progress Pulse was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr Rao. A token of gratitude was presented to Mr. Rao by President Rina Sinha.
VED Council members Dr Rita Dhodapkar introduced Mr M. Srinivass Rao and Vice President Mr. Pankaj Mahajan proposed a formal Vote of Thanks. New VED members Adv Harish Thakur and Mr P. Mohan, Secy MIA were inducted into VED Council .Many representatives from various organisations viz, Jeevan Ghime, Puneet Mahajan , Manish Sanghavi , P. Mohan from Butibori Manufacturers Association, Mr Laxmikant Padole from Neem Foundation, Mr. Sunil Joshi from Bamboo Society of India , Mr. Amitabh Sinha , MD, Metlok Co were among a host of budding entrepreneurs in agriculture and students and VED members .
