ITT Lab. inaugurated by the hands of Hon’ble President of ICAI

Revealing the steps taken by the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of India (ICAI), Hon’ble President CA Prafulla Chhajed while speaking at the inauguration of Information Technology Lab at ICAI Bhawan, Nagpur said that the ICAI is taking efforts to change the existing systems installed at the information technology training centres situated across India to upgrade the knowledge of students of ICAI and to make them well equipped and competent in the upcoming era of frequently changing digital procedures. Keeping in mind the technological advancements, it was imperative that CA Students who are going to be the architects of future Indian Economy need to be trained well and with this objective President, ICAI added that at ICAI various new initiatives are taken for the benefit of its members and students.

He pointed out that decision was taken at Council to change over the entire information systems at branch level all over the country. He appreciated the efforts taken by the Nagpur branch of ICAI in this regard. He congratulated the Chairman and his Team for the wonderful work and persistent efforts at all levels to enhance professional dignity and knowledge sphere.

He further said that the Council of ICAI is always ready to do anything at any level for the betterment of students and members of ICAI all over the world. CA Prafulla Chhajed said that the practical training program of the ICAI is the best worldwide. He suggested that students should take maximum advantage of the articleship training by sincerely engaging themselves in the office hours. Further he informed that the ICAI is planning to develop and provide a system through which the students can get in depth knowledge of all the working areas of practice and make them ready to take-up the challenging and new opportunities.

The said ITT Lab is named as “Loya Bagri IIT Lab”. This lab has an assembly of forty one high-tech computer systems with very spacious and comfortable sitting arrangement. The lab will be continuously used to impart advanced practical & digital training to the students of the Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI.

CA Jaydeep Shah, Past President of ICAI, expressed his gratitude towards the ICAI at the inaugural ceremony and praised President CA Prafulla Chhajed and his Team for successful conversion and installation of the new highly enhanced compatible computer machines. He inform the students about the latest facilities provided by the Board of Studies (BOS) of ICAI.

On this occasion, CA Rajesh Loya expressed his views and assured that he himself, his family and the entire group of Loya Bagri would continue to support the Nagpur branch of ICAI in future also. He applauded the branch for this initiative of new ITT Lab.

CA Abhijit Kelkar RCM, updated the students and members with respect to happenings at regional level for the betterment of members and students of the Institute.

CA Suren Duragkar, Chairman Nagpur Branch, while welcoming President CA Prafulla Chhajed said that Nagpur Branch is always eager to serve our students with latest knowledge and latest infrastructure. He thanked President CA Prafulla Chhajed, Past President CA Jaydeep Shah and CCM CA Durgesh Kabra for helping Nagpur Branch in upgrading the ITT Lab for the benefit of our Student fraternity. Chairman also recognized the contribution of Loya Bagri & Company for making available infrastructure of ITT Lab for the students. He also stated that now the students can have the advantage of learning on latest technology to face the challenges before them.

The inaugural session was co-ordinated by CA Harish Rangwani – Executive Member and the formal vote of thanks was presented by CA Saket Bagdia – Secretary.
