Nagpur: The unpreparedness in implementing the online school admission process under the Right to Education (Act) is turning out to be a headache for the guardians/parents as well as the schools and authorities too.
Due to the slow working of the website, the application process is getting extended from time to time. The applicants are not able to complete full formalities of the application.
The application dates are also extended so that everyone gets an opportunity to try for admissions in schools under RTE. The RTE admission process had started on February 16.
Initially, the schools had to register itself online till february 2, here also the dates were extended to March till 2 for thier registration, because of technical problems of the website. Maharashtra education minister Vinod Tawde during his visit to Nagpur had told the reporters here that the website problem will be solved soon. However, the problem still prevails.
