Nagpur: The Income Tax department on Thursday raided the offices and residential premises of directors and senior executives of Luxora construction company promoters of Ensara Metropark in Rural area of Nagpur.
The raids were conducted simultaneously at the Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai offices of the company on Thursday morning. Sources revealed that the I-T department seized papers and documents relating to land deals and unaccounted wealth.
It may be noted here that the company is coming up with a huge residential township called Ensara Metropark at Pipla. The complex is being built in an sprawling area of 350 acres involving an investment of thousands of crores. The director of the company is Deepak Vasandani, Sanjay Kothari is the executive officer of the project, while Manoj Asrani is the chief of sales and marketing at Luxora.

The department has also taken into possession the bank lockers of the partners of the company. Sources said that the raid will continue till Friday.
