Nagpur News: Unidentified mobike-borne youths snatched a bag containing valuables worth Rs 34,000 from Dhantoli Police Station area on Sunday night. According to information, Smita Nagesh Pandit (54), a resident of Aath Rasta Square, Flat No. 204, Vikram Apartment was coming on her scooty (MH 31 DJ 3493) from Ramdaspeth. Two unidentified youths came from behind and the pillion snatched her bag kept in front of her scooty. The bag had Rs 200 cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs 34,000. Before she could raise an alarm, the youths fled away.
On the complaint of Smita, Dhantoli Police registered an offence of bag lifting against the unidentified youths under Section 379 of the IPC. Further investigations are on.
