In an appalling incident, two youths not only outraged modesty of a 15-year old girl travelling in Star Bus but also bashed up her father and brother for questioning their act. Both the accused have been booked and cops have launched a search to nab them.
Police sources said that the 15-year old girl, along with friends, was returning home after school around 5.15 pm on Monday. She was travelling in a Star Bus from Mor Bhavan Bus Stop to Hingna Naka. The two accused youths Ravi and his unidentified accomplice were slyly chasing the girl from beginning. Midway, the two accused started talking the girl in indecent language and also indulged in obscene gestures. When the girl reached home she narrated the incident to her father and brother. Confronted the girl’s kin, the two accused youths bashed them severely.
MIDC Senior PSI Yadav, acting on the girl’s complaint, booked the two accused Ravi and his accomplice under Sections 354(A) (D), 323, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
