Nagpur: Two teenage girls, both bound for college and school, went missing and have reportedly been kidnapped by unidentified persons in Wadi and Yashodhara Nagar areas.

A 16-year old girl, daughter of complainant’s sister, left her Wadi home for going to college around 7 am on Thursday (September 6). She was expected to return home by 11.30 am. However, the girl did not return and went missing since then. A search for her proved futile. It is suspected that an unidentified person lured her and abducted her.

Wadi police constable Sheshrao has, asper Supreme Court ruling that if a minor girl or boy goes missing then the case be treated as that of kidnapping, registered a case under Section 363 of the IPC and searching for the girl.

Similarly, a 15-year old girl, residing in Yashodhara Nagar area, in school uniform left home between 10 am and 11 am on Friday. She neither went to school nor returned home. Her parents searched her at all possible places but in vain. A person named Sohel could have abducted her, it is being suspected.

In this case too, the Yashodhara Nagar PSI Rathod has registered a case under Section 363 as per Supreme Court directives and searching for the girl.
