Two students of Priyadarshini College end lives in separate incidents

Nagpur: A teenage girl and a boy, both students of Priyadarshini College, committed suicide in separate incidents in Hudkeshwar and Nandanvan areas here on Sunday. It could not be ascertained whether the two suicides were inter-connected.

In the first incident, a resident of Ayodhya Nagar, near Sai Mandir, 17 year young Girl, ended her life by hanging to ceiling hook with the help of a sari around 2.30 pm on Sunday. She was staying with her mother and brother in a rented house. She was studying polytechnic in Priyadarshini College. When her mother returned home she found her hanging to ceiling hook and shouted for help. With the help of nearby residents, She was pulled down and taken to GMCH where doctors pronounced her dead. The exact reason behind her taking the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately.

Hudkeshwar API Patil, based on information, registered a case of accidental death and launched an in-depth probe into the matter.

Similarly, a 20-year old boy, Abhishek Vijay Sonkusre, resident of Qtr No. 2/3, LIG Colony, opposite Dalal Hospital, Nandanvan, committed suicide by hanging to ceiling fan at his residence with the help of a dupatta between 6 pm and 9 pm on Sunday. Abhishek too was a student of polytechnic in Priyadarshini College. The reason behind Abhishek ending his life tragically is under wraps.

Nandanvan PSI D O Pendkar, based on information provided by Vijay Wamanrao Sonkusre (48), father of deceased, has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.

It could not be verified whether the suicide by Shweta Yadav and Abhishek Sonkusre was connected with each other as both were students of polytechnic in Priyadarshini College.
