Two siblings aged 9 years killed, 6 others injured in auto-truck collision near Butibori

Nagpur: In a ghastly road mishap, two siblings aged 9 years were killed and six others were injured seriously when the autorickshaw they were travelling in was rammed by a truck near a village coming under Butobori police jurisdiction on Tuesday.

The deceased Surekha Gulab Jadhav (9) and Dnyaneshwar Gulab Jadhav and others were travelling in an auto. When the auto reached on a stretch of road near Mauza Ruikheiri Bori on Chandrapur National Highway 7, a speeding truck (MP-22/H 1868) rammed it with forceful impact. The collision resulted in injury to auto driver, 5 other passengers and death of Surekha and Dnyaneshwar on the spot.

Butibori API Prashant Thavre booked the truck driver under Sections 279, 338, 304(A) of the IPC and arrested him.
