Two persons end lives in bizarre way in different areas

Nagpur: Two persons committed suicide in a bizarre manner in Hudkeshwar and Ambazari areas.

In the first incident, the deceased Pankaj Babanrao Gawande (28), resident of Plot No. 26, Awdhoot Nagar, ended his life the gory way. Pankaj slashed his entire body with a blade and thus inflicted deep gashes in his house between 8 pm of Sunday and 1.30 am of Monday. He was found dead apparently due to excessive bleeding. The reason behind Pankaj taking such drastic step, however, could not be ascertained.

Hudkeshwar PSI A J Ingole, based on the information given by Nilesh Babanrao Gawande (31), has registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter thoroughly.

Similarly, an unidentified man, aged 35 years, committed suicide by hanging to a Babul tree in the thick bushes opposite Tanvir Hotel near Ambazari Lake. The unidentified man hanged to the tree with the help of a steel chain around 5.30 pm on Monday.

Ambazari PSI Tripathi, based on the information provided by Prashant Shankarrao Kusre (30) of Ambedkar Wadi, registered a case of accidental death and investigating the matter from all angles.
