Two days’ PCR for five in Hotel Eastern Point sex racket case

Nagpur: Arrested on Saturday night after raid on Hotel Eastern Point, hotel manager and five pimps were produced in the court by Bajaj Nagar Police on Sunday. The cops obtained their two days’ custody remand till July 24. The Russian girl, who was rescued by the police from the hotel, has been sent to Karuna Hostel in Jaripatka.

The accused have been identified as Bunty alias Ahmed Saurabh Ahmed Ali (31), a resident of Mankapur; Sahil alias Mohd Shariff Rafiq (31), a resident of Parvin Nagar, Yashodhara Nagar; Nikhil Pramod Yetekar (23), a resident of Chhoti Masjid, Sadar and Abhijit Siddhodhan Fulzele (23), a resident of Plot No 20, Shramjivi Nagar, Ajni; Kulbhushansingh Durgasingh Bais (30), a resident of Plot No 161, Ramchandra Apartment, Onkar Nagar, Ajni.
The accused have been booked under Sections 370, 34 of Indian Penal Code read with sub-sections 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of the PITA act.


A police officer informed media that the accused were produced in the court with evidence of seized material. The court granted two days custody for custodial interrogation.

The police officer also informed that the four pimp were arranging customers for the Russian woman. “They were demanding Rs 10,000 to 15,000 for a customer and many youngsters and married men were in their contact,” the police said. The Russian woman (31) used to fly to Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi in a month. She arrived in Nagpur on July 18 and had plan to stay upto August 4, the police officer said.

The court asked the cops to send the Russian woman to Hostel.
