Two booked for punishment for culpable homicide, not ammounting to murder

Nandanvan police has arrested two people for allegedly responsible for culpable homicide not amounting to murder of 32-year-old Ashok Mendhe, a resident of Ganesh Nagar.
Mendhe succumbed to his injuries after few hours of treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital on November 4.
Police informed that Mendhe had a fight with Naresh Mahalle and Mahadeo Mahalle over a trivial issue near his residence on October 3. Mendhe had suffered internal injuries and was rushed to GMCH where he died during treatment.Initially, police had registered a case of an accidental death.
Later, during investigation, it was found that accused Naresh and Mahadeo Mahalle, a resident of Padole Nagar, responsible for Mendhe’s death.

Police has booked Mahalle’s under section 304 of IPC (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder).
Cops informed that Mendhe and the accused had an argument over a trivial issue after Mendhe had beaten cattle owned by Mahalle’s. Police are further investigating the case.
