The learned District Judge-3 and Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur, on 27.04.2026, rejected two bail applications arising out of the same crime, i.e., Crime No. 306/2026 registered with Police Station Hudkeshwar, Nagpur. The case pertains to an alleged assault on an employee of SK Bar Restaurant.
One application was filed seeking anticipatory bail, while the other sought regular bail. The anticipatory bail application filed by Tanmay Kishor Dhanvijay, represented by Adv. O. K. Masurke, came to be rejected. Similarly, the regular bail application filed by Prashant Vinod Ingale, represented by Adv. Sandeep Nandeshwar, was also rejected.
The prosecution strongly opposed the grant of bail, citing the nature and seriousness of the allegations involving assault on the employee of SK Bar Restaurant. After considering the submissions advanced by both sides and the material placed before the Court, the learned District Judge-3 and Additional Sessions Judge, Nagpur, rejected both bail applications.
In both matters, APP Pandey appeared for the State of Maharashtra, while Adv. Sumeet Bodalkar appeared as Assist to Prosecution.
