Nagpur News : Two youths were arrested while another youth was booked for molesting girls in Nandanvan and Pratap Nagar areas.
An 18-year-old girl lodged a complaint with Nandanvan police and alleged that two youths assaulted her and molested her. According to information, the accused Shankar Raju Tagde (26) and Salman came in front of victim’s aunt’s house and started using abusive language. The victim intervened to calm down the accused but they started accusing her and assaulted her physically.
On the basis of the victim’s complaint, Nandanvan police arrested Shankar and booked Salman under Sections 294, 506 (b), 34 and 354 of the IPC.
In another molestation case, a youth was arrested by Pratap Nagar Police for eve teasing and molesting a young girl on Wednesday. The accused has been identified as Mangesh Ramji Raut (20), a resident of Nelco society. Police said, the accused approached the 20-year-old girl in front of a photo studio, Trimurti Nagar and tried to befriend her. The accused started abusing the girl when she refused his friendship proposal.
On the complaint of the girl, Pratap Nagar police registered an offence under Sections 354 (d), 294 and 506 of the IPC and arrested Mangesh.
