Nagpur: In what could be termed as misuse of power and authority over others, a Tuition teacher attempted to sodomize his student. On October 25, 2015, the parents of the victim along with other parents reached the venue where the Tuition classes are usually conducted and thrashed the Tuition Teacher, rampaged the tuition class and dragged the Tuition teacher to the Police Station.
According to police sources, the Tuition Teacher identified as Kalyan Singh aged 25 years was giving Tuitions to students weak in certain subjects in the Rajput Tuition Classes. There were several students receiving coaching from him.
Since last two days, one of the students aged 7 years refused to go to tuition classes. Upon pestering from parents, the 7-year-old victim related that the Tuition Teacher does bad things with him. Upon intense questioning, the 7-year-old victim and student of Rajput Tuition Classes related the attempts of Sodomy by the Tuition Teacher Kalyan Singh on him.
Seething with anger, the parents of the victim and other parents reached the Rajput Tuition classes and after thrashing Kalyan Singh, broke the furniture of the tuition class. Later they dragged Kalyan Singh to Rana Pratap Police Station and handed him over to the Police personnel.
Till the time of filing the story, the Police have arrested the accused Kalyan Singh and are investigating the antecedents of the accused.
According to sources, the accused is said to be hailing from Jammu Kashmir.
