Nagpur: The all India working president of Kreeda Bharti and vice-chairman of Hedgewar Samiti, Lakshmanrao Pardikar (70) was killed in a road mishap on Sunday afternoon near Sausar, MP.
According to sources, Pardikar was heading to Chhindwara for some work on Sunday. According to police sources, Pardikar”s car was hit by another speeding four wheeler head-on which killed Pardikar and injured five other people.
Pardikar was taken to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The other five are still under medical supervision.
The victims who sustained injuries are identified as Devaji Bhoyar (50), Yogesh Bovade (40), Aakash Parteti and Bheem Singh Rajput.
The unexpected news left everyone at Kreeda Mandal in mourning. According to sources, Pardikar”s last rites will be held at Shanti Nagar crematorium on Monday. Pardikar was also an active Sangh member since 50 years.
