Nagpur: An unidentified cyclist was killed on the spot by a rashly driven truck on Manewada Ring Road. Driver of the killer truck has been arrested.
The unidentified cyclist, in the age group of 35-40 years, was going towards Onkar Nagar Square on Manewada Road on Monday. When the cyclist reached in front of Ajmeri Mutton Shop around 10.30 pm, the truck (MH-16/ BC 3555), driven recklessly by Bhupesh Gopinath Kirtane (31), native of Kharwadi, District Ahmednagar, knocked him. The critically injured cyclist died on the spot.
Ajni cops, based on information, booked the truck driver Bhupesh Kirtane under Sections 279, 338, 304(A) of IPC and arrested him.
