Kumar, of All About Idlis is a restless soul who has a penchant of keeping on ‘tweaking’ his idlis.
Not satisfied with plain idlis, he began offering stuffed idlis; he expanded the stuffings on offer ad infinitum, then he moved on to different coloured idlis. Specially Tiranga – three coloured – idlis which have been an August special.
For Republic Day this year, Kumar has on offer triangular idlis which will be 3 coloured too! The usual tiranga colors of white, saffron and green. (Colored naturally by using ingredients like beet, carrots and coriander and mint.)
These idlis are also bigger in size than the normal round idli and hence more filling. Available with all the trademark sauces and chutneys he makes.
Stocks made each day are limited and tend to run out very fast. So hurry…
