Nagpur: One more youngster lost his life in road accident in the city. The deceased, Sumit Sukhdev Bante (20), resident of Bharat Nagar, Kalamna, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding in crashed on a road divider near Tirpude College on Monday morning.
According to police sources, Sumit Bante, a student of Tirpude College, left home around 7.15 am for going to college. He was riding a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle (MH 49/AA 3246). As Sumit neared college around 7.45 am, his bike suddenly slipped and dashed against the road divider. Sumit fell on the divider with forceful impact and received head injuries. He was immediately taken to a government hospital but succumbed while undergoing treatment.
Sadar police have registered a case and started investigations.
