Nagpur News : People have frequently witnessed men creating scenes and misbehaving after consuming alcohol. But, in a shocking incident at Imambada Police Station, on Monday late night, cops had a tough time when a drunken woman created ruckus in the police station and misbehaved with cops.
The woman, identified as Rita Ronald Lorrence (28), a resident of Jatatarodi No. 3, Indira Nagar Slums, entered the police station in drunken state and started abusing Lady PSI Manisha Balasaheb Jagtap and other cops. She used abusing language for the Lady PSI and beat one constable Jaipurkar.
The cops tried to control and calm the tipsy Rita, but failed. Rita continued abusing the cops. Finding no other solution, the lady cop Jagtap lodged a complaint against Rita for creating ruckus in the police station. A case under IPC Sec 332, 353, 504, 506, 323 and sub Sec 120b, 85 against Rita.
Cops have arrested Rita, informed Praveen Wadile. Police said that reason behind Rita’s misconduct has yet not been clear. Police are further investigating the case.
